I remember when I was still a little girl, I used to dream of places which I thought weird because it was far from how my hometown looked like. Perhaps it was a product of constantly watching TV at home and dreaming of going somewhere. I never thought it would happen.
My first travel out of the country was in Kingdom of Bahrain in December of 1999. I was part of a band called Music Junction. Next band gig was in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates in the year 2000. Being a performer/singer paid well but I resigned from the band and pursued my studies as it was my dream to finish my bachelor degree.
After graduation in 2002, I dreamed again to travel out of the country and was only realized in April, 2006. Again, I stepped foot in Abu Dhabi the night of 24 April, 2006. I thought this is only the beginning.
I have been to Oman twice and would love to explore more. I have experienced snow for the first time in Georgia, been to Albania and was in awe of the beauty of the country. Went to Armenia with friends and took photos of Vic and Michelle for their prewedding shoot. And had a wonderful time in Morocco where I witnessed firsthand the culture and hospitality of the locals.
Experiencing the culture and way of living of each ountry will educate you more of life. You will see life in a different perspective. You will see beyond your eyes can see. And you reflect more of how you live your life. It’s a good experience and I want more.
